I particularly appreciated the great diversity of topics covered in security in CyberSchool, whether reverse, intrusion test, cryptography or mathematics. This allowed me to find my way towards missions\/jobs that suited me.<\/p>\n \n

Compagnies are very sensitive to the personal projects of the candidates. It is always a good point to contribute to open source projects, design tools, scripts, write write-ups, etc. Even if it is only a question of participating in a larger project with a few bugfixes, you must have done something else outside the school framework to show your interest and motivation.<\/p>\n \n

There were many key moments during my studies and one of them was the privacy course in the final year of my Master’s. The teacher was great and the case studies and practicals really helped me to understand the importance of privacy in our daily lives, and it\u2019s still a hot topic today.<\/p>\n \n

What I really love about this sector is the diverse nature of our work and the fact that it is constantly changing: there\u2019s no time to be bored. I learn something new every day and that\u2019s really rewarding! Go even further than what you learn in the programme.<\/p>\n \n

I have worked in three cybersecurity jobs in Rennes and I found these jobs in less than two weeks. The current context is one of the main reasons for high recruitment levels in the sector.<\/p>\n \n

The highlights of my studies at Universit\u00e9 de Rennes 1 was the great teachers who were devoted to their subjects and who really knew how to transmit their enthusiasm to us. I really enjoyed talking to them because they frequently took the time to discuss my career path with me and help me make the best choices.<\/p>\n \n

The Universit\u00e9 de Rennes 1 training programme is an introduction to the main cybersecurity subjects: choose the subject you\u2019re most interested in and find an internship which matches that. On the whole, students get on well during their internships and are directly hired by the company afterwards.<\/p>\n \n

The most memorable moment was my internship with the CAIRN team at the IRISA research lab in Lannion. I wouldn\u2019t be where I am now if I hadn\u2019t taken that internship<\/p>\n \n
