You can also choose to enter the job market.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the <em>BTS<\/em> is via the online platform <em>Parcoursup<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are two <em>BTS<\/em> that we recommend:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>BTS Services Informatiques aux Organisations (SIO)<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>BTS Cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9, Informatique et r\u00e9seaux, ELectronique (CIEL)<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you wish to continue your studies after your BTS, we recommend researching the prerequisites of the institution you&#8217;re interested in for your third year post-Bac, to choose the most appropriate BTS.<\/em><\/p>\n\n                                                        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"bloc\">\n                <p class=\"title\">&#8216;Classe Pr\u00e9paratoire aux Grandes \u00c9coles&#8217; (CPGE)<\/p>\n                <div class=\"contain-txt\">\n                    <p>The <em><strong>Classe Pr\u00e9paratoire aux Grandes \u00c9coles (CPGE) <\/strong><\/em>is a two-year programme designed to enhance high school graduates\u2019 knowledge across various disciplinary fields, with the aim of subsequently entering an engineering school,\u00a0 a prestigious higher education institution, or a university.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you choose a <strong>scientific <em>CPGE<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"680\">There is also the <em><strong data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"498\">Cycle Universitaire Pr\u00e9paratoire aux Grandes \u00c9coles (CUPGE)<\/strong><\/em>, offered within universities. These programmes provide <strong>preparation equivalent to that of the CPGE<\/strong>, while allowing students to benefit from<strong> university status<\/strong> and earn <strong>ECTS credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"821\">For example, Enssat and the IUT of Lannion offer the <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/two-and-three-year-higher-education-programmes\/cycle-universitaire-preparatoire-aux-grandes-ecoles-cupge-cybersecurite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"818\">Cycle Universitaire Pr\u00e9paratoire aux Grandes \u00c9coles (CUPGE) \u2013 Cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"908\">Admission to a CPGE or CUPGE is carried out via the online platform <em>Parcoursup<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n                                                        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"bloc\">\n                <p class=\"title\">&#8216;Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie&#8217; (BUT)<\/p>\n                <div class=\"contain-txt\">\n                    <p>The <em><strong>BUT<\/strong><\/em>, which is a three-year training course, can give you access to the cybersecurity sector.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the <em>BUT<\/em> is via the online platform <em>Parcoursup<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>IUT of <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/but-reseaux-telecommunications-saint-malo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saint-Malo<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/but-reseaux-telecommunications-lannion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lannion<\/a><\/strong> offers, for example, the &#8216;<strong>BUT R\u00e9seaux &amp; T\u00e9l\u00e9communication&#8217;<\/strong> with a specialisation in cybersecurity in the second year. After these 3 years, you can either enter the professional world or continue your studies in engineering schools or at university.<\/p>\n\n                                                        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"bloc\">\n                <p class=\"title\">Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/p>\n                <div class=\"contain-txt\">\n                    <p data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"502\">A <strong data-start=\"245\" data-end=\"266\">bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong> is a three-year university programme that constitutes the <strong>first step towards postgraduate studies at Master\u2019s level<\/strong> (or, more rarely, an engineering degree). It provides access to specialised programmes in the field of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"603\">Admission to a bachelor\u2019s degree programme is carried out via the online platform <em>Parcoursup<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"688\">Several options are available depending on your profile and interests, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"754\">\n<li><strong data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"712\">Computer Science<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"732\">Electronics<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"752\">Mathematics<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"989\">Cybersecurity is also a rapidly growing field within law, and an increasing number of programmes combine law with digital security. Therefore, a legal and\/or political science approach can also represent an excellent career option.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1043\">Here are two additional bachelor\u2019s degree options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Law<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Political science<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1230\">You can pursue a bachelor\u2019s degree at any university. For example, <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1179\">the University of Rennes<\/strong> offers all five of the degrees mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n                                                        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <div class=\"bloc\">\n                <p class=\"title\">Engineering programmes<\/p>\n                <div class=\"contain-txt\">\n                    <p><strong>Engineering schools<\/strong> train students over a 3 to 5 year period (entry after the <em>baccalaureat<\/em> or after a <em>CPGE<\/em>, a bachelor degree, a <em>BTS<\/em> or a <em>BUT<\/em> depending on the establishment).<\/p>\n<p>Admission to an engineering school depends on the entry level:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admission after the <em>baccalaureat<\/em> is mostly via the online platform <em>Parcoursup<\/em>. It can also be via a competitive examination, file examination and\/or interview. It all depends on the establishment.<\/li>\n<li>Admission after a <em>CPGE<\/em>, a bachelor degree, a <em>BTS<\/em> or a <em>BUT<\/em> is via a competitive examination, file examination and\/or interview.
