<\/span><\/span>Presentation<\/h2>\n

The engineering programme at CentraleSup\u00e9lec spans over 3 years. Students undergo two initial years of general studies, including courses in the field of computer science (SIP courses, algorithmic courses, Security & Networks…).<\/p>\n

In the third year, the programme branches into 4 specialisations: ‘Systems’, ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Software Science’, and ‘Cybersecurity’. The cybersecurity specialisation equips students with the necessary skills for securing information systems successfully, through training covering cryptography, prevention and detection of intrusions and malware, as well as various aspects of security engineering.<\/strong> The field of cybersecurity demands a very high level of technical expertise. It requires experts capable of understanding and anticipating increasingly complex attacks. These experts must continuously innovate and devise new means of defence and detection. They will be responsible for the security of tomorrow’s digital data. The objective of this specialisation is therefore to enable graduates to integrate into state organisations requiring strong technical competence, or into highly technically selective national or international companies (such as Apple Security team, Google project Zero, Amazon Information Security, etc). However, the goal is also for young graduates to potentially venture into entrepreneurship in the field of digital security.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span>Who can apply?<\/h2>\n

If you wish to obtain the Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur mention cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/em>, you must have completed a <\/strong>Classe pr\u00e9paratoire scientifique aux Grandes \u00c9coles<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span>Internship and work-study programme<\/h2>\n

Students must undertake a final internship during their 3rd year.<\/strong> This internship marks the end of the engineering students’ education, allowing them to fully integrate into the professional world thereafter.<\/p>\n

Students also have the option to complete their years of training through a work-study programme.<\/strong> They are therefore required to find a hosting company and sign an apprenticeship contract.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

<\/span><\/span>Possible Diversification<\/h2>\n

In the 3rd year of the programme (with the cybersecurity specialisation), it’s possible to concurrently pursue a research master’s degree in computer science (Master informatique parcours Science Informatique<\/em>) at the University of Rennes.<\/strong> This opportunity is particularly aimed at students wishing to pursue a doctoral thesis or simply curious to explore the world of research during their final year of study.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>International Mobility<\/h2>\n

Students have the opportunity to undertake a semester abroad<\/strong> if they meet academic requirements and if the courses chosen at the foreign university replace the courses not taken in the specialisation (to be defined with the teaching team).<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
