<\/span><\/span>Presentation<\/h2>\n

This full-time specialty aims to provide engineers with the necessary skills to audit, design, develop, maintain and evaluate complex software systems.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This specialty includes a common programme for all students in the first year (2 semesters), which allows them to acquire all the core skills required for a digital engineer. Students develop skills in engineering mathematics, software development and the digital environment. Students develop soft skills (management, administration, marketing and communication) and acquire a variety of working methods and professional skills \u2013 both individual and group-based \u2013 as well as improving their interpersonal skills and oral and written expression in French and foreign languages. Students are also introduced to the world of work through compulsory work placements.<\/p>\n

In the last three semesters of the degree programme, students can select one of three options.<\/p>\n

The final three semesters of the programme are structured into three options, with two options related to cybersecurity: Information Systems and <\/strong>Computer Science \u2013 IoT, Security and Smart Cities.<\/strong>

<\/span><\/span>Choosing your option<\/h2>\n

Within this programme, students must choose one of two options.<\/p>\n\n

<\/span><\/span>Joint degree<\/h2>\n

To further specialise in cybersecurity, students have the opportunity to enrol in a double degree programme during their 3rd and final year of the engineering cycle, in the Master\u2019s Cybersecurity, Science of Software and Hardware Security at the University of Rennes (ISTIC).<\/strong> They will thus join the second year of the master’s programme.<\/p>\n

In September, students will undertake three modules of the Master\u2019s Cybersecurity, Science of Software and Hardware Security and will be required to complete a project during the first semester. They will also need to undertake an internship in the field of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n
