Organisations, whether private, public, or governmental, are seeking increasingly specialised profiles. Detecting security breaches, protecting infrastructures and sensitive data, thwarting attacks, or analysing threats related to tense geopolitical situations: it is true that topics abound!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In this context, pursuing a dual-degree programme can prove to be a real asset.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>A Rich and Recognised Academic Journey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The level 7 dual degrees <em>(Bac +5)<\/em> offered by the CyberSchool are all recognised by the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Integrated into the programmes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Rennes<\/a> and those of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/about\/partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Consortium&#8217;s Engineering Schools<\/a>, these pathways allow students to benefit from complementary teachings. <\/strong>They can thus build a solid knowledge base to grasp a subject, understand complex problems, and develop solutions tailored to the demanding context of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>A Range of Possibilities and Validation of 2 Diplomas in the Same Year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Within the CyberSchool consortium, it is possible to obtain an engineering degree and a Master&#8217;s in cybersecurity within the same year. Students from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rennes.centralesupelec.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CentraleSup\u00e9lec<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enssat.fr\/en_US\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enssat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/esir.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Esir<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imt-atlantique.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IMT Atlantique<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insa-rennes.fr\/graduate-school-of-engineering.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">INSA Rennes<\/a> indeed have the opportunity to enrol simultaneously at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Rennes<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/istic.univ-rennes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISTIC<\/a>) and thus receive a dual-degree.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the dual degree options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CentraleSup\u00e9lec x ISTIC<\/strong>: Students enrolled in the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/diplome-dingenieur-parcours-infosec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur parcours InfoSec<\/em><\/a>\u201d at CentraleSup\u00e9lec can enrol, alongside their final year, in the second year of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/masters-in-computer-science-cybersecurity-track\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master\u2019s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity track<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/istic.univ-rennes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISTIC<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Rennes<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enssat x ISTIC<\/strong>: Students enrolled in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/software-and-computing-engineering-information-management-artificial-intelligence-and-cybersecurity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Software and Computing engineering programme, Information management, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity<\/a>, or the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/computer-engineer-by-apprenticeship-cybersecurity-data-and-multimedia-science-artificial-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Computer Engineer by Apprenticeship programme, Cybersecurity, data and multimedia science, artificial intelligence<\/a> at Enssat can enrol, alongside their 2nd year, in the first year of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/masters-in-computer-science-cybersecurity-track\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master\u2019s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity track<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/istic.univ-rennes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISTIC<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Rennes<\/a>). They allow students to envision a range of careers covering diverse objectives. For example, they can choose to work for a software publisher, an embedded systems designer, a municipality, a governmental actor, or a research laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Student Testimonials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Allan: <em>&#8220;This programme allowed me to acquire advanced computer skills while developing expertise in cybersecurity. I intend to pursue a career in offensive cybersecurity.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>M\u00e9lanie: <em>&#8220;The opportunity to take courses simultaneously in two institutions allowed me to project myself and validate the profession I would like to pursue after my studies, namely, to pursue a Ph.D. in one of the research laboratories of the Consortium.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Tom: <em>&#8220;Thanks to the networks of both schools, I was able to intern at leading companies in their field, which enriched my experience and my CV.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>In Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opting for a dual-degree within a consortium of partner schools like the CyberSchool guarantees the validation of diplomas recognised by the state and ensures a qualitative, well-composed, and well-organised pathway. The pedagogical coordinators, teachers, and teacher-researchers of the consortium often meet and work together to ensure the overall coherence of the teachings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A student who validates two <em>Bac +5<\/em> diplomas recognised by the state in the same year benefits from an asset that undoubtedly optimises their transition to the professional world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, within the CyberSchool consortium, there are also co-degree programmes offered by two institutions.
