These trials showcased the talents of the teams while encouraging a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the intense competition, the event also provided a special opportunity for sharing and exchanging among students from different cybersecurity courses. <strong>The day blended competitive intensity with a convivial atmosphere, offering all participants a rich and formative experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valuable support from partners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CyberSchool was proud to sponsor this educational CTF<\/strong>, contributing to an increased number of participants this year. Indeed, six teams flying the CyberSchool banner participated in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside CyberSchool, sponsors such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orange.fr\/portail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Orange<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apixit.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">APIXIT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icodia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Icodia<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pole-excellence-cyber.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">P\u00f4le d&#8217;Excellence Cyber<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stmalo-agglomeration.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Saint-Malo Agglom\u00e9ration<\/a> provided invaluable support, ensuring the event was impeccably organised for everyone involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the technical challenges, <strong>some sponsors delivered enlightening talks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CYBERSCHOOL: <em><strong>&#8220;Discover how unexpected system vulnerabilities can act as gateways for devastating attacks&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> presented by Corentin Bouchard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ICODIA: <em><strong>&#8220;A fascinating insight into the mechanics of internet traffic hijacking&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> presented by Rapha\u00ebl Angleraux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ALUMNI: <em><strong>&#8220;Sharing our experiences at the Ph0wn 2024 competition&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> presented by Paul and \u00c9mile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Congratulations to the participants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The winning team, composed of students from the <a href=\"https:\/\/istic.univ-rennes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISTIC<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-rennes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Rennes<\/a>) <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/masters-in-computer-science-cybersecurity-track\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master\u2019s in Computer Science Cybersecurity track<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insa-rennes.fr\/graduate-school-of-engineering.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">INSA Rennes<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberschool.univ-rennes.fr\/en\/education\/cybersecurity-training-programmes\/diplome-ingenieur-informatique-option-securite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Computer Science Engineering programme, security option<\/a>, excelled in overcoming the challenges. <\/strong>Congratulations to this team for their outstanding performance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A big round of applause also goes to all the participants, whose enthusiasm and determination shone throughout the day.<\/strong> Everyone contributed to making this event a memorable experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Saturday 7 December, 132 cybersecurity enthusiasts gathered at the IUT of Saint-Malo to take part in the 2024 edition of CTF Flag\u2019Malo, a unique event created by students, for students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":15884,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[2],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.13 -
