CYBER THURSDAY | The Duality of AI
12 FEBRUARY 2026 | 2:00–5:30 p.m. | Rennes | By registration only
The rise of AI is redefining digital threats, from information manipulation to cyberattacks and advanced protective measures. This Cyber Thursday offers a programme covering topics from deepfakes and the alteration of visual content to the operational detection of security vulnerabilities. At the intersection of research, technological innovation, and industrial applications, the presentations will illustrate how scientific advances can become both concrete tools for defence and instruments of manipulation. Demonstrations and case studies will provide material for reflection.
This Cyber Thursday is part of the Winter Research School of the CyberSchool.

Cyber Thursdays
On the first Thursday of every month, the CyberSchool Consortium hosts Cyber Thursdays, a series of round-table discussions at the heart of the Beaulieu campus in Rennes. Experts share their experiences and unpack the challenges and realities of information systems security. The aim is to offer students a hands-on immersion into the world of cybersecurity, enriching their academic journey. Selected partner organisations are also invited to attend these round tables (by invitation).
