Launch of the Main Application Phase: Excellence Scholarships for Research in Cybersecurity
CyberSchool is launching the main application phase for its Excellence Scholarships for Research in Cybersecurity, a programme aimed at students wishing to undertake an internship in a partner laboratory with a research project related to cybersecurity.
These research scholarships are intended to encourage students to tackle complex cybersecurity challenges in advanced research environments. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join specialised laboratories, interact with experienced researchers, and contribute to projects addressing new cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Programme Objectives
Through this programme, CyberSchool aims to attract new talent, foster the development of a scientific workforce capable of solving complex issues, and encourage the sharing of knowledge and experiences.
More specifically, the objectives of this programme are to encourage students to:
- Contribute their expertise to research projects associated with CyberSchool.
- Establish connections by taking advantage of exceptional research and networking opportunities in laboratories linked to CyberSchool.
- Increase future collaboration possibilities with these cybersecurity research laboratories.
Eligibility Criteria and Financial Support
This programme offers young talent the chance to conduct research projects within partner laboratories of CyberSchool, supporting the development of the next generation of cybersecurity experts. Open to students enrolled in a first- or second-year master’s programme, financial support available per application is 300€ net per month for internships lasting between 3 and 6 months.
Application Dates and Process
Applications are open until 30 November 2023 for the main phase, with an additional phase planned early next year (10 January to 28 February). Interested applicants must submit a dossier including their academic transcripts, CV, and a recommendation letter, among other required documents. Applications will be assessed by an CyberSchool committee.
