4th Place at BreizhCTF 2025!

The team representing the CyberSchool consortium achieved a remarkable performance, securing 4th place among 118 teams at the largest in-person CTF event in France.

A challenge brilliantly tackled by the students of the CyberSchool consortium

Represented by five 4th and 5th-year students specialising in cybersecurity, the CyberSchool consortium team (University of Rennes, INSA Rennes, IMT Atlantique, CentraleSupélec, Esir…) performed exceptionally well during the 9th edition of BreizhCTF. Facing 118 teams, including professionals from major companies in the sector, the students demonstrated determination, ingenuity, and team spirit to secure 4th place, an impressive result considering the calibre of their competitors. During more than 8 hours of intense challenges, Adnane, Ala Al-Deen, Elson, Gabin, and Malvin proudly represented the consortium. We can only warmly congratulate them for this success.

CyberSchool would also like to congratulate the team from the IUT of Saint-Malo, who stood by us throughout the event, as well as the master’s team of RSSI from ISTIC.

A showcase for cybersecurity: attracting the next generation of talent

Beyond this competition, BreizhCTF 2025 also served as a true showcase for cybersecurity. During the two-day event, many high school students and university students took the time to visit the CyberSchool stand, reflecting their growing interest in this field. The event provided an opportunity to highlight the cybersecurity training programmes offered by our partners and showcase the numerous opportunities available in Rennes and Brittany. The fruitful exchanges underscored the attractiveness of our region for young talents wishing to specialise in this field, with diverse courses tailored to the sector’s needs.
