BreizhCTF 2024
During the night of the 17th to the 18th of May, 109 teams competed in the BreizhCTF.
What is the BreizhCTF?
The BreizhCTF is a CTF-type cybersecurity competition. For this 2024 edition, 600 participants answered the call and challenged each other for 12 hours from Friday night to Saturday. CyberSchool is proud to have sponsored the event!
Hacking Demonstration
Throughout Friday, two first-year Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity track from ISTIC (University of Rennes) and members of the CyberSchool student union were present at our stand to give a demonstration. They made a machine (and its camera) vulnerable and exploited it live on their computers. A big thank you to them for this demo!
Rump by Lomig Piette
Currently a Master’s year 2 intern at one of the leading French cybersecurity firms, Lomig identified a zero-day vulnerability in an open-source software solution during his first week of the internship. He shared this discovery at the event. Congratulations to him!
CTF Competition
The students particularly enjoyed the experience and the challenges proposed. Congratulations to our outstanding team, ÉPICÉ, composed of students in the Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity track and the Chief information security officer track at ISTIC. Well done also to the PeigneDeDir’HACK team from IUT of Saint-Malo, our partner present alongside us!
CyberSchool would like to warmly thank all the contributors who made this event a success!
