Collaborations
CyberSchool is a project created with the aim of increasing the number of highly qualified graduates in cybersecurity. Our ambition? To create a dynamic space where students, lecturers, and industry professionals collaborate to tackle cybersecurity challenges.
We believe in synergies between academia and industry and, therefore, offer a range of partnership opportunities for companies and organisations seeking cybersecurity talent.
Speak at ‘Cyber Thursdays’
On the first Thursday of every month, CyberSchool organises a series of roundtables focused on various cybersecurity topics, called ‘Cyber Thursdays’. The goal is to gather expert insights to provide students with a comprehensive view – both strategic and operational – of the challenges, sectors, and professions in cybersecurity. By broadening their knowledge, these events aim to help future professionals in the field better envision their role in the professional world. A networking session in the form of a cocktail event is held after each roundtable, allowing speakers to continue discussions with students in a more informal setting. This format, accessible by registration only, offers a valuable and personalised networking opportunity.
At each Cyber Thursday event during our first 2024-2025 edition, more than a hundred students from six partner institutions (University of Rennes, CentraleSupélec, ESIR, IMT Atlantique, INSA Rennes, Sciences Po Rennes) attended.
We welcome professionals who wish to speak and share their experience at these sessions.

Recruit interns or trainees
CyberSchool brings together university and engineering cybersecurity training programmes offered by a consortium of partner institutions: CentraleSupélec, Esir, Enssat, IMT Atlantique, INSA Rennes, IUT of Saint-Malo, IUT of Lannion, Sciences Po Rennes and the University of Rennes.
We invite companies to find out which programmes are best suited to their needs, and to send us their internship and/or work-study offer(s) so that we can pass them on to the students concerned.
You can also send us your job offers.
You can also post your offer on the Career Center of the establishment(s) concerned:
Open your company’s doors to students
As part of their training, students from the Master’s Cybersecurity, Science of Software and Hardware Security, and the Master’s Cybersecurity with CISO specialisation, have the opportunity to visit companies in the sector. These short visits, lasting about two hours, allow students to gain hands-on insights into cybersecurity challenges and careers within specialised organisations. Engaging with professionals, understanding real-world challenges, and exploring different work environments help them refine their career aspirations.
We are always looking for companies willing to host these visits and share their expertise with the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Teach and share your expertise with students
As a cybersecurity professional, you have the opportunity to contribute to the education of future experts by delivering guest lectures in certain academic units, particularly at the University of Rennes.
By sharing your knowledge, you can enrich students’ academic journeys through both practical and theoretical courses. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact us to discuss teaching arrangements.
Propose a CIFRE PhD project for doctoral students
If your company has a finalised cybersecurity CIFRE (Industrial Research Training Agreement) thesis project, please send it to us so that we can forward it to our research institutes’ research directors. If the theme is suitable, the latter will liaise with their teams to help identify a thesis supervisor.
CyberSchool will then be able to transfer the project to future PhD students whose skills and areas of interest match your project.
Other partnerships
Because CyberSchool aims to develop its partnerships jointly with companies and organisations invested in cybersecurity, we want to extend the collaborative options to meet your needs and benefit the entire cybersecurity ecosystem.
