Capgemini Welcomes CyberSchool Students for an Immersive Experience
In mid-September, students from the Master’s in Computer Science specialising in the Cybersecurity track and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) track, at ISTIC (University of Rennes), had the opportunity to visit Capgemini’s offices.
Capgemini is a globally recognised leader known for its advanced expertise, allowing it to meet the diverse needs of organisations across four key areas: Strategy and transformation, applications and technology, engineering, and operations. Warmly welcomed by the Rennes team, the students were given the chance to immerse themselves in the daily lives of cybersecurity professionals.
The visit began with a presentation of Capgemini, highlighting its expertise and its role within the digital ecosystem. This was followed by an overview of the various careers in cybersecurity, offering students insights into the many career opportunities within this growing sector.
Divided into small groups, the students then explored several thematic corners covering current cybersecurity topics:
- Deep Fake: From Fiction to Reality
A presentation on the challenges posed by videos and images generated or modified by artificial intelligence, and their potential impact on information manipulation. - What Is a Cybersecurity Internship/Apprenticeship at Capgemini?
An interactive session giving students a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them within the company. - How Capgemini Contributed to Securing the Olympic Games
A fascinating look at the digital security measures deployed to protect this global event.
This day provided future cybersecurity professionals with a truly enriching experience. A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and knowledge sharing!
