Immersive Visit at Orange Cyberdefense

The students in their first year of the Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity track and Master’s Computer Science, track Chief information security officer at ISTIC (University of Rennes) had the opportunity to take part in a visit to Orange Cyberdefense, at the heart of their operations.

The students from the CyberSchool consortium were warmly welcomed by the Orange Cyberdefense team in Rennes, where they had the opportunity to discover various aspects of their activities: Cyber-SOC, Audit consulting, Global Operations… They also had the privilege of meeting the Director of the Detection Business Unit, who shared his expertise. Finally, they were granted exclusive access to the room offering a perspective on Orange’s SOC, this strategic space dedicated to the real-time monitoring and management of security incidents.

This visit allowed students to better understand the cybersecurity professions practised by a leader in the field. A big thank you to the entire Orange Cyberdefense team for this unique opportunity!
