A comprehensive training program
CyberSchool offers cutting-edge, innovative and international training backed by research at the Masters and Doctorate level. We train future experts, engineers and scientists in cybersecurity. The training includes strong synergies between the academic curriculum, research and professional experience. Classes are conducted in English.
CyberSchool is based on an interdisciplinary approach associating mathematics, digital sciences and technologies and human and social sciences within six research areas:
- Right and protection of privacy
- Artificial intelligence and security
- Embedded hardware and systems
- Formal methods and security
- Software and systems security
It is a complete training program at Master and Doctorate level.
An interdisciplinary training on digital security issues
Cyber attacks are evolving at breakneck speed. CyberSchool provides its master's students with the level of expertise and agility necessary to adapt instantly and in depth.
The training will address the theories, methods and algorithms ensuring the security of the digital society as well as of the contents to be protected in very varied contexts and conditions of use (mobility, cloud, industrial systems, connected objects, etc.).
The model of a "university research school"
The model of a "university research school"Designed according to the graduate school model, the CyberSchool is a winning project of the French ‘Investissements d’Avenir’ Program.
It is the only university research school for cybersecurity in France.Supported by the University of Rennes 1, CyberSchool draws on the expertise of Rennes universities, four major engineering schools (CentraleSupélec, IMT Atlantique, INSA Rennes and ENSAI), ENS Rennes and Science-Po Rennes, in close collaboration with the CNRS and Inria Labs, and in collaboration with the Brittany Region, Rennes Métropole and the French Directorate General of Armaments (DGA).
Winner of the second wave of the call for projects “University Research Schools” from the French ‘Investissement d’Avenir’ Program, CyberSchool has received a state funding of € 5.75 million over 10 years.
