This post-master degree is codelivered by CentraleSupelec and IMT Atlantique. As a consequence, students of this degree obtain a double degree and benefit from the features of both universities: internship offers, alumni associations, job forum…

The goal is to develop skills related to the conception, deployment, exploitation of Information systems in a secure way. In addition, students are also train to continously improve the security of an Information System and to react to security breachs.

The Post-Master degree in Cybersecurity is offered by lecturers from the “Network Systems, Cyber Security and Digital Law” (SRCD) department of IMT Atlantique and from “Confidentiality, Integrity, Disponibilité, Repartition” (CIDRE) team from CentraleSupelec. Lectures are given in French. In addition to lecturers from these both prestigious universities, a large part of lecture or teached by technical experts from various companies.

Acquired skills

At the end of this programme, students will be able to:

Master organisational methods (EBIOS methods, ISO 27001 standard) and technical methods (authentication, certification, firewall, etc.) to protect the resources of an information system.
Comprehend comprehensively the issues related to information system security to manage associated risks (risk management).
Contextualise the technical, economic, and legal environment in which the information system security policy should be established.

Who can apply?

This training programme is aimed at professionals or recent graduates, with or without professional experience, who wish to acquire expertise in information systems security.

If you wish to apply for the Cybersecurity – post-master degree, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

Engineering degree accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI list)
Degree from a management school accredited to award the national Master’s degree (CEFDG list)
Postgraduate degree accredited by university authorities (DEA, DESS, Master’s, etc.) or professional diploma at Bac+5 level
Master 1 degree or Maîtrise or equivalent for auditors with at least 3 years of professional experience
Title listed in the RNCP at level 1
Foreign diploma equivalent to the French diplomas mentioned above

Some candidates holding a Bac+4 without professional experience may be admitted under derogation.

In addition to the required titles and diplomas mentioned above, candidates must have a background in scientific education. General knowledge in computer science and networks is necessary.

Internship

Students are required to complete a 6-month internship in a company (from April to September), which will culminate in the defense of a professional thesis.
