2nd Edition of the CyberSchool Research School

From the 20th to the 22nd of February 2024, the Pôle Numérique Rennes Beaulieu successfully hosted the second edition of the CyberSchool Research School.

This event provided an opportunity for students, PhD students, researchers, academics, and professionals specialising in cybersecurity to come together and exchange ideas on the latest advancements.

This Winter Research School aimed to provide participants with an overview of current research in cybersecurity. To achieve this, CyberSchool mobilised several research teams and laboratories, ensuring a diversity of topics. From cryptography to homomorphic encryption, hardware architecture, electromagnetic cybersecurity, and AI, the topics covered a wide spectrum, offering a complete panorama of contemporary cybersecurity issues. A half-day was also dedicated to international issues, with contributions from the universities of Cagliari and Limerick.

The event was open to everyone, but it particularly attracted local PhD students and researchers specialising in cybersecurity. Similarly, cybersecurity students from the University of Rennes, mainly at the master’s level, as well as those from partner engineering schools of the CyberSchool, were strongly encouraged to participate. This openness to different levels of expertise facilitated interdisciplinary exchanges and allowed participants to deepen their knowledge while expanding their professional network.

Moments of conviviality took place alongside the lectures, allowing speakers and participants to interact. The atmosphere was friendly and warm, just as we had hoped.

The CyberSchool team would like to thank everyone who contributed to this Research School. This second edition was a success because of you!

We look forward to seeing you next year for the third edition!
